Call for Submissions

Our Vision:

Chris B. and Jeannie Ewing are teaming up to co-edit Inside Care, a poetry anthology centered on caregiving as long-term, morally complex, and inclusive of the invisible labor that remains unacknowledged by many.

We believe that caregiving is a long game marked by repetition, vigilance, love, exhaustion, and ambiguity. We are interested in poems written from within caregiving, not those that observe it from a distance.

Our intention for this anthology is to give caregivers a voice that we feel is grossly underrepresented in the literary space. Once this collection is completed, we will be seeking traditional publishing opportunities with the option of self-publishing (digital and/or print).
